[Oceania-video] couple o' things

Hey all,
this list has been a bit quiet of late but thought I should let  
people know that EngageMedia is still in the works and hopefully will  
be available to use soonish. We got a bit distracted putting on a  
conference called Transmission <http://transmission.cc> with Candida  
TV in Rome, which brought together about 30 international online  
video distribution projects to discuss ways of collaborating. This  
has kick started a global network which will hopefully spur on the  
projects within it.

One other project I've been doing which people might be interested in  
is the "Audio/Video ngo-in-a-box": a toolkit of free and open source  
software aimed at NGOs, non-profits and media activists. You can  
check it out online and also download a copy of the CD from there,  
unfortunately I have very few hard copies with me but hopefully more  
will get printed soon.
