Transmission - Peer-2-Peer in the Flesh
Transmission is a monthly gathering of video activists to swap, 
exchange and share their work. It's an opportunity to show your 
creations, meet up with people working on similar projects and spark 
collaborations. Whether it's documentary or experimental, we want to 
form a peer network of video makers whose content challenges the status 
quo, builds new ways to distribute those works and gets the ideas out 
there.

Transmission will be a late Sunday afternoon of discussion, drinks and 
video watching. We envision people bring their work to share, their 
brains to talk, watch and listen, and their cameras and computers to 
burn, swap and dub work.

The afternoon is of-course not just open to video makers. Anyone 
interested is free to come.

The first one is kicking off May 22nd, at Glitch Bar and Cinema, 318 St 
Georges rd, Fitzroy North at 5pm.

Who are we?
We are few people involved in Indymedia, Channel 31's Plugin and a 
coming online distribution network for political video.
