Message-ID: <1109919865.42280879a1285@animal-liberation.org.nz> Hi, Does anyone mind if I use a bit of space on tacwols to resurrect anarchism.org.nz? It was a forum/news/portal site running on Drupal. It died recently, and I get to fix it. It's currently on a lame commercial vhost, and I have no ssh access .. I can't even get the database up there :( It shouldn't be a long term thing, just until the site goes live again and can be moved to a non-commercial host. seeya's finn From gdm at fifthhorseman.net Fri Mar 4 16:44:39 2005 From: gdm at fifthhorseman.net (GarconDuMonde) Date: Fri, 04 Mar 2005 16:44:39 +0000 Subject: [Oceania-tech] non indy project on tacwols? It was originally at his house, but used a cat subdomain [tacwols.cat.org.au], which caused a bit of confusion. It's now in a cat space and hosts the cat wiki? This is all fine of course .. It'd be nice to know who to talk to about it, and is anyone administrating it? I tried an apt-get update, and it timed out while trying to access apt-proxy, so I'm guessing it has been forgotten? I can take a quick look at it if no one else is - not sure if I can commit to any long term admin work at the mo. seeya, finn -- pgp encrypted mail welcome - keyid: CD564868 keyserver: pgp.mit.edu E9E6 E3A3 4891 48D8 A95E 3F78 90D7 CA42 CD56 4868 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I agree. I s'pose you refer to the recent push from within Sydney Indymedia to be less dependent on cat. There's some new people in simc already: that's great. But we hope it won't diminish simc's involvement as a collaborative member of cat. As I understand it, tacwols (slowcat) is there for geeks associated with cat to play on. That's gotta include people like finn. Cat's brief is to support the growth of "community activist tecknowledgy". And we're keen to be inclusive. Thanks for any help you can give looking after the box finn. And thanks all for communicating about it. cheers, hugh -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ -=~ The State is a social condition, a certain relationship among human beings, a mode of behavior.
