[Imc-sydney] From meeting - big activist get together

Hi people - Len here

Those of you at the face 2 face meeting may remember me raving on about a
huge student activist get-together at which it may be useful for Indy to
have a workshop. Mainly a national convention of enviro minded students -
typically 800 or so. It's on the 4th to 9th of July in Newcastle. Sydney
Indy has done workshops in the past. Note there's an Activist Fair on the
Saturday as well. At this stage organisers are looking at a 1.5 hour
workshop length.

Would be good to express an interest in having a workshop - that doesn't
mean you're committed to having one.

This is a fairly important event for three reasons ...

1) gets Sydney Indy out there raising profile in the younger activist
community & hopefully attracting some new active members ... 
2) raises profile with the older, more established activist community -
because everyone & their dog will be there giving workshops too ... 
3) and lastly this is probably the best chance for a national Indymedia
meeting of people currently, or wanting to be, involved in Indy.
