We are offering this training first to committed activists, whether
experienced or just setting out. We expect it to be fully booked, but
we are notifying you first, as an active, indymedia, or cat participant.
Feel free to pass this on to others from Tuesday 27/11 onwards.
See http://www.cat.org.au/catskills/ for the complete timetable.
NB, especially for women: Geek Girl Stuff - intro workshop for women who
would like to learn about computers and the Internet with three
really cool geek girls - introductory level - Shelley, Safari, Colene
Contact safari at student.usyd.edu.au, or colene at cat.org.au
To book or enquire please return email me <hugh.trevelyan at mail.com>
or, if necessary, write to
Cat Camp, PO Box 303, Enmore NSW 2042
with the following information:
---name,
---email address,
---whether introductory, beginner, or geek level workshops
(see http://www.cat.org.au/catskills/ for full info)
---list the workshops you wish to book
---please mention your volunteer involvements
in non-profit community projects
Places in most workshops are limited to ten. Though we ask little or no
money for them, places in them are valuable. Because in the past it has
seemed too easy to devalue a donation-only course, we must ask that if
you book, you respect the generosity of our skilled volunteer teachers
by committing to your bookings as if you had pre-paid their full market worth.
To check whether your bookings are correct and confirmed please check for
your name in the tables at http://www.cat.org.au/catskills/bookings.html
a few days after you have contacted us.
Offers of help in organising the workshops, supporting the teachers, etc
are welcome too. SEE: http://www.cat.org.au/catskills/organising_page.html
Email offers to catkore at cat.org.au
cheers,
hugh trevelyan
