giving themselves the licence to kill, with the excuse they're doing it

desk. It's worst when soldiers fight for the imperial interests of others. 
What threat to Australia is Afghanistan? Howard put our people in danger 
there to suck up to Bush and US empire. So, yes, in that situation you risk 
death because you volunteered for it for no good reason. Your family 
probably had no say in the matter. And we should be able to argue about 
these things publicly. In a perfect world....

But as we would attract flaming, I think we can't be total democrats and 
sadly must censor this out....

This story is copied and pasted from the SMH. I didn't worry about it at 
first but it is causing a huge flame war.

Fighting over someone's death and whether they deserved to die is offensive 
in my view.
