[Imc-sydney] German IndyMedia

Hi Diet & all,
I agree that the responses from Germany Indy were rude and somewhat out of
line with what I think of as indymedia. But as Cam said, disaffiliation is
difficult and ugly. As a first step, you might compose a letter of protest,
explaining the evolution of the downfall, and send it to imc-communication.
You may get a discussion going about how GIMC acts and whether they have
gone too far. If there is enough support, then you might find an imc closer
to Germany that would be interested in proposing disaffiliation.
Personally, I would just concentrate my efforts elsewhere. If they don't
value your work, then they don't deserve it. You can become obsessed with
your anger and it can absorb all the time you would have spent writing
articles. If you put that energy into writing top quality articles, you can
then post them to other indies and boycott Germany. Perhaps they would then
see the error of their policies.
Just my 2c.
salud,
stacy
