That's very interesting Diet. I like the sound of the electoral system. Yes, most people here are like docile sheep carted off to be slaughtered - except that, when it happens to them, a lot of them do stand up and make a fuss. Gerard Crewdson and Val Kerrison have been involved in the war against HealthQuest (the government medical office) for ten years. Gerard reported abuse of disabled people at his workplace and Val reported discrimination against Aboriginal students at Kempsey TAFE. Those two are very brave. The frustrating thing is, unless it has happened to them, no-one is prepared to stand beside them in the fight.
