Cam,

you use the word loony too loosely.

when the heart floweth over we sometimes talk funny. none of us are always 
lucid. and this person may always talk around three corners so he's probably 
glad to have us as a forum where he's safe from ridicule.

I have a 'loony' person to thank for my fanaticism about justice. When I was 
a seven year old in Germany riding a merry-go-round, a handicapped boy also 
on it was being tormented terribly by other kids. I cried bitterly at the 
unfairness of it and was utterly frustrated by my mum's not being able to 
explain why people do that. So 'loony' rings shrill bells in me.

And yes, that does sound like reasonable collective decision making to me.
