[Imc-sydney] PROPOSAL: event content type

Hi all,

I'd like to add event calendar functionality to the site. This would get 
some of the event announcements off the newswire, and allow them to be 
hilighted in a block of their own (I suggest on the left hand side 
directly underneath the navigation block).

What do you think?
