[Imc-oceania] Call out for media help on Peace Convergnece

Hi Oceania ppl,

The Peace Convergence is almost upon us.

I’m asking for some urgent help establishing a basic open publishing site
for the event that enables us to post stories, upload audio, video and
photos and get it liked to various local indys and global indy.  I know
I've had some offers, but can't find the necessary emails (panic!)

I’d also like to know who is planning to come to the event and if they’d
like to help me in the media centre in Yeppoon (we’re leasing a shop front
for the week).  We don’t have much gear, but we can make do.  There will
likely be many ppl with gear who we need to help be citizen journalists!

So far we have one laptop, two video cameras, a mini disc, two digital
still cameras.  Still in need of a fax machine or alternative way to send
faxes to the mainstream media.

I’m also coordinating the food not bombs feeding of the masses (between
300 and a thousand we expect). and I'm the PC environment spokesperson...
