[Imc-oceania] PROPOSAL: United IMC

Hi All,

With todays closure of Melbourne Indymedia, it has prompted me and a 
couple of others to start serious consideration of a united IMC.

Currently myself (Sydney/Coffs Coast IMCs), Takver (Melbourne IMC) and 
Allan (Perth IMC) are keen to form a collective and start discussion on 
how we will operate. At present, we are thinking that an Australia wide 
IMC is the go. Either under indymedia.org.au and/or 
australia.indymedia.org or similar.

However, we have considered that maybe others in the Oceania region may 
want to co-operate on an Oceania wide IMC under oceania.indymedia.org. 
This email is to start discussion on this and determine whether this is 
what we (Oceania) collectively want.

If the answer is no, i suggest those from Australia start a list (say 
imc-australia at indymedia.org.au) and start organising there.
