Hi,
My name is Jodie Martin and I am a final year student in the Bachelor of
Communications at Griffith University. As part of my assessment for the
subject Journalism Cultures, I am required to spend a day at both a
mainstream and alternative media outlet. I need to compare journalism
practices in the different cultural settings and interview media practioners
about their work, finally forming a critical essay on this topic. I would
love to spend a day helping (or following someone around!) at the IMC in
Brisbane if this is possible. I would be able to do this from Friday 02/06
to Tuesday 06/06. I realise this is very short notice, however if you are
able to assist me I would really appreciate it.
I would also like to discuss working with you on a volunteer basis, possibly
weekly or fortnightly.
