[Imc-oceania] Request to edit archives

Hi Cameron,
                  I was under no illusion that I would be successful in preventing yet another surreal proposal from being implemented. Nor did I consider blocking this proposal to be a significant priority - it really will have little effect, when a bigger picture is considered.
                  My reasons for attempting to block it were 
a) The reasons I've already provided, regarding our historical record.
b) To give those on this list an opportunity to provide rational explanations for their support for this proposal, rather than opinions only.
c) To provide unbiased observers with an alternative way of looking at all of this.

                  It appears Stacy, myself and indeed all who've had anything to say about this have achieved a great deal, and I sincerely thank you for helping facilitate this mutually beneficial exchange.
