[Imc-oceania] Support for arafura.indymedia.org

Hi all,

This is a report back from the discussions regarding the darwin.indymedia.org 
domain name on the resolve list.

Although we never agreed on a moderator, and none ever volunteered themselves, 
I am reporting back what I think is an important issue that impacts on all 
regional collectives.  I am reporting this as an individual member of a 
regional collective, not as a representative of the resolve list or any other 
group.

Robert Fyffe has submitted an application for the domain name 
arafura.indymedia.org. Jay, with the new-imc working group has asked regional 
collectives to support the application:

"We're going to make an effort to have this new-imc application come with the 
support of other IMCs in Australia and the ocenia network in general so we can 
all be sure it has broad support."

This is in recognition of the thoroughly unpleasant history of the darwin 
collective, which has now spilled onto the new-imc list.

I encourage oceania collectives to consider the application and send a 
statement to new-imc at lists.indymedia.org so that they can make an informed 
decision.
