Hi all,
Hi all, I hope you are well. I am off overseas for a
period of time very soon. Before I go I would like to
sort a few issues with Melb Indy out. 

The first is that someone else needs to take over
checking the email. I have only been doing this
periodically, and there are very few messages. Anyone
putting their hand up? And has already done a solid
amount of time, so I think someone else should put
their hand up. 

The second is whether we can get a meeting together
for those people interested in getting Melb Indy back
up and running. There have been a few people over the
past few months expressing interest in getting
Melbourne Indymedia running again. I have kept saying
that we would let them know when the next meeting
would be, but we have not had one. 

I suggest we name a meeting time to try and catch up
and also put the call out to these interested people.
Can I suggest Monday the 11th Feb in the evening at
6pm. I can contact 3cr? This is not very far away, but
it is before I go and before And goes OS for a trip. 

If not the alternative would be to make it further in
advance. I would not be able to come, but would be
able to sound out to contacts that have emailed us in
the past.

My main concern is that it handing the email over we
do not lose contact with people who have expressed
interest in the past. It does though require the
collective itself to want to actually try and get
something happening, which I am not sure if anyone
else is up for...

How do people feel about this?
