I agree. Otherwise, I can see we'll be umming and ahhing when interested people ask what it is they can do to help. It will virtually guarantee that they won't want to stay involved. I think one of the key things we need to focus on is our internal organisation. We've been an "adhocracy" for too long - it's diffused waaayyy too much energy!

Personally I would suggest doing an internal meeting before doing a  
public one (or is that already the plan). A lot of people will come  
along with a lot of questions and ideas and I think it would be best  
to get sorted internally first and then through it open otherwise I  
see a very chaotic meeting.
