After the leak of my email yesterday to the local newswire, I decided to
go ahead with publishing the feature re suspending open publishing.

Inspiral harry and Anna have all emailed in principle support of
suspending open publishing.

Today I authorised Dave from axxs.org to modify the publishing pages to
effectively turn off open publishing.

As harry has been checking the emails to the collective using info at ...
address which has become inundated with spam on a daily basis, I have
asked Dave to change the site contact address used by the contact form
to collective at ....

I am open to restarting open publishing with the present software if
more people become involved in feature writing and moderation. However,
I think to resolve the problems long term we need to upgrade the
software, or move to a different model.
