We finally had a meeting which was good. Hopefully

Radio stuff
show needs help - idea floated to do a weekly roster –
Anna going suggest that Liz (Anna can help) puts up a
wiki with the radio info and that a roster is
organised from here – also everyone needs to join the
work list and if possible some radio people come to
the regular meeting

Next meeting for alternative media for G20 Thursday

Media of dissent – Asher to do workshop, Anna and
Phoenix will also be in attendance
3CR Sunday Nov 12th 12-6.30pm, Trades Hall

Media Van – there is a van that will be used as a
mobile reporting station and night for guerrilla
screenings – wireless link established – battery pack
also sorted out – there will be a wireless hot spot
around the van – media pamphlet will also be handed
out 

*  Battery Pack for Van can be dangerous – training
will occur after meeting on Thursday night

Media Space – in RMIT Catalyst – may be an issue with
site or file types being blocked – possible solutions
-to check if iburst card can be subscribed to other
account
-see what is actually blocked at RMIT
-see if there is a techie way around it – Anna to
speak to Dave
-? Look at buying another iburst card. 

Leaflet needs blurb on Indymedia – Harry to do 


New Site
Dev site up in basic form – what needs to be done is
to play around with it 

– main priority is to have an editorially controlled
wire to move the best stories up to 
– need a button on site to ‘alert an admin’ which goes
to a separate page that we see when we log on to the
site 

We need to all play with the dev site

Collective decision made to move all of pr’s articles
to crosspost wire unless they show some sign of being
of ‘local interest’

? if fortnightly then alternating days
? break for xmas for short time
? where – wireless would be good, but where? Brunswick
not easily accessible for many people
