RMIT has put there hand up to have a media room, at the catalyst space 
(student mag room). there will be 3 computers there, with editing 
facilites, wireless, and more.
There is a mobile indymedia van that will operate on the fri - sun, 
which essentially both places will support each other.

The RMIT space will be necessary for ppl if they need to spend longer 
doing something, ie video editing. emailing mass amounts of peole etc.

ANYHOW, this space cant exist without people to look after it. Are 
hoping to have it at least open for the following times:

Friday 17th - 3-6pm
Sat 18th - 4 (?) - 8pm.
Sun 19th 11 am - 5 pm, all day as ppl may possibly want to edit footage 
from day before. Sunday is potentially a big day too though so not sure 
about these times.

These times are flexible, and may need to be changed depending on events.

However if your into either
a) being responsible for the media space during any or some of these 
times or
b) may like to be a hands on editor for people to give their footage to, 
which wld mean we could have constant internet feeds.

then please email me back and we shall make a roster of sorts.
